VIETNAM (15/09/2022) – Investment and Trade Promotion Centre of Vietnam and Consulate General of The Republic of Indonesia in Vietnam together held an event for promoting Indonesia products. This year event concept is to promote and introduce one of Indonesia natural commodity which is spices. Long ago, Indonesia has used spices for traditional medicines and household herbs. Even there are some temple reliefs and epigraphs showing the process of creating spices into medicine. Then Indonesia became the world’s first international trade proven by Malacca Strait. It is becoming trade route to export the spices into other countries such as China, India, Portuguese and so on.
Through Promoting Trade Connection Event, Indonesian government and other stakeholders are aiming to promote Indonesia cuisine abroad. Ismy PTE Ltd, is one of the company which given a chance by Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Vietnam to open a booth there. With their products such as Myibu, Cangkir Mas, and Jagur red ginger. Mr. Agustaviano Sofjan (Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City) attended and gave a welcoming remark at the event. He also supporting Myibu, Cangkir Mas, and Jagur as red ginger products from Indonesia that already go international.
During the event, red ginger from Myibu, Cangkir Mas, and Jagur catch attention from the attendees and they take an interest in buying red ginger. With this event, it will make Myibu, Cangkir Mas, and Jagur red ginger awareness in Vietnam raising even more.
